A: We feel the market will soon be on the upgrade, and it’s time to worktogether on this new product.

B: I think we all agree that there will be a market boom soon. If we planahead, we shall beat our competitors.

A: Yes. When people start spending the money they saved during the marketslump, we’ll do well.

B: We’re ready to put a lot of money into making the product. Are you goingto invest in marketing to develop the market for it?

A: Yes. Our company is not making much money now, but we know if we spendmoney to develop the market for this product, future profits will be good.

B: It’s a feature of the market that people start to buy things only whenthey are sure the market is getting better.

　　短语说明

the market is on the upgrade 商场看涨

"upgrade"，‘上扬、前进’;"up"在此有‘向上’的意思。商场看涨标明经济复苏，市价逐步向上扬升，而产品生意亦日趋活络。与之相反者为"Themarket is off (down)."(商场下滑)和"The market is on a downward trend."。

market boom 商场昌盛;商场景气

"boom"‘昌盛;昌盛之意’。"market boom"是指因产品的需要添加，股开工业的出产，使得商场上的生意活动火热。与"strongmarket"类似。

develop a market 开发新商场;拓宽商场

这个用语的根柢意义是指，为一项全新推出或既有的产品寻求出售目标或通路。若关于全新产品，"develop a market"是标明为此产品找到花费群，使之能顺畅进入商场;若关于旧有产品，则标明为它打开不曾触摸的贩卖领域，如添加不一样的通路或销往国外。
