Understanding the workflow of L/C is the best way to understand this payment method. The workflow can be divided into several stages including issuing, checking and amendment, preparing documents, availability of credit, etc.

晓得诺言证的作业流程是晓得该付款方法的最佳办法。作业流程可分为开证、审证、批改、预备单据、获得货款等几个期间。

7.4.1 Issue the L/C

7.4.1 开立诺言证

Issuing a L/C is not complicated. Once a need for a L/C is specified in the contract, the importer requests its bank to issue the credit. The issuing bank issues the L/C via the advising bank which then forwards the L/C to the exporter. The advising bank is the correspondent bank of the issuing bank in the seller's country. Normally the seller's bank is appointed as the advising bank for convenience.
